Part 1: Video converter for all the portable players

With only 4 steps, you can convert and transfer your videos to your portable media players with high quality and fast speed.

Please move your mouse on the picture and you will get some detailed procedural steps for operation.

 

 

Step 1: Import video files
Click "Add…" to import video/audio files including standard and high definition files or drag the files to the file list window directly. Here below are all the supported imported formats.

Step 2: Customize output settings

 

Select your desired output format from the categorized output formats list in "Profile" drop-down list, specify the output directory to save your converted files in "Output" drop-down list.

 

 

And you can set the related video/audio parameters (resolution, frame rate, video encoder, bit rate, sample rate and audio channel etc) in "Settings" window by clicking.

 

Step 3: Start conversion
After setting the output format, you can start conversion by clicking "Start" button, and all the tasks will be done at fast speed and high quality.

Step 4: Transfer converted video to your portable media players (iPod/PSP)
After conversion, you can transfer the converted videos to your iPod or PSP directly with the embedded two useful tools: iPod Video Transfer and PSP Movie Manager.

 

 

Part 2: Video joiner and splitter

 

Video Joiner: You can join several video files together by checking "merge into one file" option on the bottom of the main interface, and then all the files listed in the file list window will be automatically joined into a single file.

 

Video Splitter: You can split video into segment after you click on the top of main interface and then click in the "Video Edit" window.

 

Part 3: Video editor

You can do some editing to your video in "Video Edit" page after clicking on the top of the main interface.

Video Cropping:

Click "Crop" and you can resize the video. You can get the desired size of video for your player by selecting aspect ratio, dragging cropping frame or setting the related parameters.

Video effect adjusting

If you want to make some special effect to the video, you can realize it by setting brightness, contrast and saturation etc. You will get an intuitive preview of the video effect before and after adjusting with two real-time previewing panes.

Watermark editing

If you want to get a personalized video by adding some information to it as watermark, you can realize it by adding either text or image information. You are also allowed to resize the added text/image.

 

Plug-in subtitle adding
If you have got some videos with the corresponding plug-in subtitle file (usually in SRT format), you can add the subtitle to the video under "Subtitle" tab.

Note: The source file you import should be MKV file, and the plug-in subtitle file should be in SRT format. And you still have to put the MKV file and subtitle file in the same folder with the same name.

Part 4: DVD/VCD file maker

If you want to make VOB files for burning them on VCD and DVD, Wondershare Video Converter Platinum can help you finish it. You can specify the format in "Others" category in the categorized output format list.
