How to Convert DVD to WMV/AVI with Pocket DVD Ripper

Step 1. Download the product from here and install it

Step 2. Import and edit DVD file
The program supports both DVD files and IFO file. If you want to add DVD files, click the DVD icon and find the VIDEO_TS folder you want to add from your computer or your DVD disc, and then click OK to add the DVD files. Or you want to add an IFO file, you can just find the VIDEO_TS folder and selected the valid IFO file to add to the program.

 

 

All the chapters of DVD are selected in the default setting. You can uncheck the box or choose anyone you want to convert. This help you save much time. You will preview the video on the right window.

 

Step 3. Set the output preferences The program lets you add multiple projects to convert. You can set the output file name and output settings at your pleasure, and view the size and status of each project. Click the name of a project and the program will let you change the file name. Click Preferences to set the output settings of a project. See the figure below:

Output File Path: Click the browse button to specify a folder to save the converted file of the current project. Audio: Select an audio channel and an audio frequency for the current project. Video: Set the resolution, output format, frame rate, aspect ratio and bit rate for the current project. Note: If you click "Default" button, all the original default settings will be restored.

 

Step 4. Start convert
After completed the entire setting, click "convert" or "convert all" icon to convert what you want. Step 4 Template Choose a template from the available two types of templates: Player template and General template. Each type has templates of different styles. A player template has control buttons and general templates are for special occasions with selectable control bars. If you choose a player template, you will see the window below:

 

You can preview the current process of the conversion including its elapsed time and time remaining. Or check "Hide Preview" to don't use it. After the conversion, you will find the converted files in the specified output folder.
